Me Playing guitar and singing 'There She Goes' by Six Pence None The Richer

I was doing my engineering in Mysore when I first heard this song. I liked the song instantly. Since then I wanted to learn guitar and play this song one day. I joined my guitar classes in Mysore just to learn this song( and also another song 'Pour Some Sugar On Me' by Deff Leopard'). In fact I bunked my last year classes( hope my professors are not reading this ) for this. That crazy I was about this song. I did manage to learn the song, but wasn't that satisfied. After 7 years, with the help of YouTube, I could figure out the exact chords and the strumming patterns. If not for YouTube I would not have learnt to play songs on my Guitar and Keyboard. So here it is guys...

What an amazing song!. This was the feeling I had when I first heard it. Since then I always wanted to play this song on my guitar. I could not do it because the guitar playing is 'cap'poed. Meaning I would require a 'capo', which needs to be attached to the guitar. In case of this song it is 7th fret. Once capo is attached and played the strumming would sound unbelievably awesome :).

I never understood the meaning of the song before. I kept listening to this song for about 2 years without paying any attention to the lyrics. One day I payed attention to it and absolutely fell in love with the it. If you haven't, I insist you to pay attention to the lyrics.

Masakali From Delhi 6

This is my latest karaoke recording of Masakali from the movie Delhi 6. An amazing composition by A.R Rahman. Even after composing music for lots of movies his music still sounds fresh. That's A.R Rahman. Hats off to him.

Kabhi Kabhi.. ( I can sing. :-) )

This is my second Karaoke recording. I subsituted some parts, which were difficult for me to sing, with Rashid Ali's, the original singer, voice. He has some kind of charm in his voice.

I kind of gave up on composing new stuff. May be the hardware apparatus I am lacking or the zeal itself :). But this time around I have managed to record/hum over some karaoke songs. This one, I am posting is one of them. It is not perfect. And the flaws can be easily heard. But this is just one of my attempts on improving my singing skills. I will hopefully improve when I record more :).

It's being very long since I have uploaded any song on to my blog. I could not work on new songs as my system's hard disk crashed and I was kind of caught up with work.
I am back with my new composition. Again, it might not be a final rendition but I would like to give you guys a first impression of what the song might be look like.

Well how this song happened? Okay here is the story; One day I was kind of exploring many options in the software I use (Logic). Suddenly I came across this loop which was very interesting. I started using this loop and on top of it I hummed some thing along with the loop. Unbelievably it was just a single take. I thought it was good and then I added strings and followed by lot of other instruments.

It would be great if any one can write lyrics for this song and send it to me
